Anthony Paul Uglietta of Medford died on Tuesday, August 8 at the Lahey Clinic Medical Center of Burlington. Born and raised in Somerville, he was the son of the late Cosmo and Anna (Tizzio) Uglietta. Anthony proudly served in the Navy during WW II, after which he returned to his job as a meat packer.
Anthony was the beloved husband of the late Lillian (Macaluso) Uglietta, and the devoted father of Ann Carol Ruberti and her husband Giovanni of Medford, Diane Vincent and her husband Garry of Alabama. He was the loving grandfather of John Ruberti and his wife Jaclyn of Middleton, Michael Vincent and his wife Tiffany, and Jonathan Vincent, all of Alabama, and Christina Oldacre and her husband Adam of Louisiana. Anthony was the loving great grandfather of Chase, Cameron and Lilyana Ruberti, and Jacob Oldacre. He was the brother of the late Pasquale, Dominic and Cosmo Uglietta, and is survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Funeral from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford on Saturday, August 12, at 9 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Clement Church, 71 Warner St., Medford, at 10 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford. Visiting hours Friday, August 11, from 4 through 8 PM.
