Obituary

WORCESTER___Frances (Kasiulis) Gailiunas, 94, of Worcester died Friday Sept. 30 in Whittier Rehabilitation Hospital, Westborough.
Her husband, Jonas Gailiunas died in 1970.

She leaves a daughter, Rita F. Primeau of Oxford; a daughter-in-law, Marcy Gailiunas of Vancouver, B.C. Canada; four grandchildren, Victor Gailiunas and his wife Louise, Adam Gailiunas, Paul Gailiunas, M.D., and his wife Helen, and Amy Bates and her husband, Corey, three great-grandchildren, Julian, Miles and Francis and various relatives in Lithuania. A son, Vito Gailiunas died in 2001, a son-in-law, Everett A. Primeau died in 2003. She was born in Lithuania, daughter of Joseph and Amelia Kasiulis and has lived here since 1949.

Mrs. Gailiunas was a matron 27 years for State Mutual Assurance Co. and retired many years ago. She was a member of St. Casimir Church, the American Lithuanian Roman Catholic Women’s Alliance, the Lithuanian Charitable Society and was a patron of the Sisters of the Immaculate Conception in Putnam.

The funeral will be held on Tuesday Oct. 4 from DIRSA-MORIN FUNERAL HOME, 298 Grafton St., with a Mass at 10 a.m. in St. Casimir Church, 41 Providence St. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery. A calling hour will be held from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. Tuesday Oct. 4 in the funeral home.
