INTERNICOLA, Anthony of West Roxbury, passed away on August 5, 2017 at the Faulkner Hospital after a brief illness. Born in Boston in 1935, Anthony grew up and was educated in Revere, Massachusetts. He maintains familial ties to the Revere community. After proudly serving in the United States Army from 1959 to 1962, he began his career as a mechanic at Merchant's Tire Company before spending over thirty years working as a mechanic for the United States Postal Service. He leaves behind his wife of over forty years, Diane (Swartz) Internicola, and their daughter, Nikki. He is also survived by his sisters, Elizabeth Bacon and Angela Cafarella, and his brothers and sister-in-laws, Joseph and Maureen Internicola and Salvatore and Elaine Internicola as well as his nieces, nephews and friends. He is predeceased by parents Nicholas and Filomenia Internicola and his friend and brother-in-law, Arthur Cafarella. Funeral from the William J. Gormley Funeral Home 2055 Centre St. WEST ROXBURY, Thursday, August 10th at 9am. followed by a Funeral Mass in St. John Chrysostom Church at 10 o’clock. Visiting hours Wednesday 4-8 pm.
