Kurt T. Nummy, age 64, passed away on Aug. 3, 2017 at Mercy Medical Center. He was born on July 24, 1953 in Springfield. Kurt owned and operated his own landscaping company, Greystone Landscapes for over 33 years. He graduated from University of Massachusetts Amherst, Class of 1978, with a degree in Park Administration and Resource Management. He leaves his loving wife of 33 years Linda (Anderson) Nummy of Chicopee; 3 sons, Chris Nummy, Zachary Nummy and his wife Lisa and Joseph Chouinard all of Chicopee; his mother Carol (Savaria) Nummy of Montgomery; he is predeceased by his father Robert Nummy. Kurt also leaves 2 brothers, Alan Nummy and his wife Margaret of Southampton and Rob Nummy and his wife Nancy of Montgomery; 2 sisters-in-laws Sherry Anderson of South Deerfield and Pamela Anderson of South Deerfield; 2 grandchildren Wilhelmina and Wyatt along with a number of nieces, nephews, cousins and other loved family members. Calling hours will be held on Thursday, Aug. 10th, 2017 from 4:00-6:00 p.m., at the Grise Funeral Home, 280 Springfield St, Chicopee. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family.
