Daniel H. Moran, formerly of Newton Highlands and Newton, died September 30, 2005 in Reading. He was 72. Mr. Moran was born in Needham and was the son of the late Daniel and Evelyn (Spaulding) Moran. He was Korean War Veteran and a member of VFW Post 1664 Newton. He lived in Needham and Newton for many years and worked as a field Technician for Digital and Polaroid.
He was the devoted father of Catherine Saniuk of Sharon, Daniel Moran of Monrovia, CA and Patrick Moran of Weslaco, TX. Brother of Kay Duggan of Marshfield, Eileen Brown of Lookout Mountain, TN, Bunny Wheeler of Durham, NC and Robert Moran of New Orleans, LA. Grandfather of Stacia and Henry Saniuk.
Funeral from the George F. Doherty & Sons Funeral Home, 1305 Highland Ave., Needham, on Tuesday at 9:00 AM. Funeral mass in St. Joseph’s Church, Needham, at 10:00 AM. Relatives and friends kindly invited. Visiting hours on Monday 4-8 PM. Private interment in the Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne.
