DUDLEY – Stanislawa (Szabowicz) Mruk, 65, formerly of Long Island, NY, died Friday, July 28, 2017 in the Long Island Jewish Medical Center with her family by her side, after an illness.
She leaves her husband of 23 years, Wlodzimierz Mruk of Dudley; 2 step-daughters, Beata & her husband Henryk Skoczylas of Dudley and Stanislawa & her husband Mieczyslaw Rapa of Rockaway Beach, NY; 2 brothers, Witold & his wife Anna Szwabowicz and Czeslaw & his wife Alicja Szwabowicz both of Poland; a sister, Maria & her husband Eugeniusz Zasada of Poland; 3 grandchildren, Piotr Skoczylas, Natalia & Claudia Rapa.
She was born in Kamienna Gora, Poland, a daughter of Stanislaw and Janina (Calko) Szabowicz.
Mrs. Mruk was a homemaker.
The funeral will be held Friday, August 4, from the Sitkowski & Malboeuf Funeral Home, 340 School St., Webster, with a Mass at 11:00 AM in Saint Joseph Basilica, 53 Whitcomb St., Webster. Burial will be in Saint Joseph Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday, August 3, from 6:00 to 8:00 PM in the funeral home.
