Edward Homan, age 87 of Atkinson, NH passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on July 30, 2017. Edward was born in Sayreville, NJ on November 1, 1929 to the late Samuel and Lillian (Hardy) Homan. He was a graduate of Sayreville High School, Class of 1947. Following high school, Edward joined the United States Air Force, having served as a Senior Radar Mechanic. He worked for many years at both Bell Labs in New Jersey and Western Electric of North Andover as an Electronics Engineer. He attended DeVry Technical Institute (Chicago) and Union Junior College (New Jersey). His business and Air Force travels have taken Edward to almost all parts of the United States, Japan, and Korea. He enjoyed walking the mall with friends, reading, golf, bowling and trips to both Las Vegas and Connecticut casinos. Edward regularly spent time with friends at Casey’s Diner in Plaistow, NH. He will be remembered as being an intelligent man and very kind to his family, especially his nieces and nephews.
Edward was the beloved husband of the late Elizabeth (Jankauskas) Homan whom he wed in 1957. He was the dear brother of Hilda Kadela, John Homan and his wife Irene, and Frank Homan and his wife Joyce. Edward is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
