Andy Ray McCrimmon, Sr., 63, of Fitzgerald, Georgia, died Monday, July 31, 2017, at his residence.
Memorial services will be held 2 PM, Thursday, August 3, 2017, at Christian Fellowship, in Fitzgerald, Georgia, with Justin McCrimmon and the Rev. Rex Johnson officiating. The family will receive friends, Wednesday evening from 7 PM until 9 PM, at his son’s home, Justin McCrimmon, 709 Pine Level Church Road, Fitzgerald, Georgia.
Mr. McCrimmon was born January 2, 1954, in Dade County, Florida, to the late Jimmy McCrimmon and the late Ruby Stanford. He worked for Southern Veneer in the log yard. Mr. McCrimmon enjoyed fishing, hunting and spending time with his grandkids. He was a member of Christian Fellowship.
He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Sharon McCrimmon of Fitzgerald; children: Andy McCrimmon, Jr. and his wife Brandi of Fitzgerald, Matthew McCrimmon of Brunswick and Justin McCrimmon and his wife Amanda of Fitzgerald; grandchildren: Mia McCrimmon, Magnum Jones, Cody McCrimmon, Alissa McCrimmon, Tyler McCrimmon, Ethan McCrimmon, Isaac McCrimmon, Kinsey Chaney, and Brandon Chaney; one brother, Jimmy McCrimmon of Georgetown; three sisters: Judy Collier of Americus, Janie Wooten of Cochran and Diane Swope of Americus. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, friends and loved ones.
