Mark Clayton Holaday, 59, of Anderson died July 30, 2017.
Mark was born April 10, 1958 the son of Joseph D. Ashby and Macel (Mabbitt) Holaday.
He worked as an installer of floor covering, an auto mechanic and a "jack-of-all-trades" most of his adult life.
Mark is survived by his wife, Lena (Crouch) Holaday whom he married April 6, 1996 in Anderson; his mother, Macel (Mabbitt) Holaday of Anderson; son, James Holaday of Anderson ; sister, Pam (Vicki) Ashby of Alexandria brother, Charles Holaday of Chesterfield, special friends, Mike May, Dee Dee Sutton, Micah Chapman, Chuck Phillips, Scott Zion and Kenny Maupin; several aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Doug Ashby; his grandparents, Lloyd and Velma Mabbitt and aunt, Sonja Ohler.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to the Community North Nursing Staff, Anderson Fire Department and Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service.
Service will be 2 p.m. on Friday, August 4, 2017 at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service, with Rev. Angie Covington officiating, with burial following at East Maplewood Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 12 noon until the service on Friday at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be given to the family to offset funeral expenses.
