Gary Lee Guidry, 61, of Anderson died suddenly at his residence July 28, 2017.
Gary was born September 12, 1955 in Dayton, Ohio, the son of Melvin Paul and Maggie Dee (Gray) Guidry.
He was a former minister at Mounds Baptist Church and was a member of Park Place Church of God.
He is survived by his daughter, Suzanne Guidry (companion Adrian Chesher); two sisters, Cindy (Daniel) Guidry-Ross; Dee Ann (Roger, Jr.) Guidry-Grove; three nephews and a niece, James and Paul Ross, Michelle Grove-Childress and Roger Grove III.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Private burial of cremated remains will be at a later date in East Maplewood Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 Thursday at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service.
Memorial contributions may be given to Madison County Humane Society.
