WILLIAMS, Velma Lee (Vaughn), 92, of Shepherdsville, passed away Sunday, July 30, 2017.
She was an RN, having worked at St. Joseph’s Hospital and Audubon Hospital. She is also a member of St. Rita’s Catholic Church.
Mrs. Williams is preceded in death by her husband, William G. “Bill” Williams.
She is survived by her children, Gary Williams (Janet), Keith Williams (LaMay), and Janet Wiseman (Greg); grandchildren, Chuck, Darrin, Jennifer, and Joy; and great grandchildren, Warren, CJ, and Taylor.
Visitation will be Wednesday 3-8pm and Thursday after 10am-12pm at Owen Funeral Home – Jeffersontown, 9318 Taylorsville Road. Funeral service will be Thursday 12pm at the funeral home, followed by entombment at Evergreen Cemetery.
