Dooley, James R., age 71, of Marshfield, formerly of Milton, passed away peacefully on July 28th. He is survived by the love of his life Paula L. Taylor. The beloved son of the late Alice (Monahan) and James Richardson Dooley, he was the loving brother of Janice Dooley Keough and her husband Arthur J. of Milton, and dear uncle of Christopher Keough and his wife Sarah and Alexandra Keough Sugrue and her husband Michael, all of Canton. He was the proud grand uncle of Beth, Tim and Larry Keough and dear friend of Denise, Francis, Paul, and Mary Lupianez. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Pius X Church, Milton, Wednesday morning August 2nd at 10. Visiting hours will be held at the Alfred D. Thomas Funeral Home, 326 Granite Ave., Milton, Tuesday, August 1st from 4 to 8 pm. Burial will be in Milton Cemetery. Jim was a retired Construction Superintendent of Walsh Brothers Corp. He retired after a 46 year employment. This was James' second family. He was a U.S. Army Vietnam Veteran. A member of the South Boston Yacht Club and the Savin Hill Yacht Club, Jim had a love of the ocean and a passion for boats. He was a true friend to many.
