ROSALIE EVELYN “BOOTS” MARYMAN, 87, passed away peacefully on July 27, 2017.
Born December 9, 1929 and raised in Shively, KY., “Boots” was a homemaker, an Avon lady for 25 years, a school bus driver, a member of C. R. R. I. L. A., Shively Moose Lodge, and Dixie Post 220.
Rosalie enjoyed going to Casino’s, visiting her daughter in Florida, spending time with her children, and playing Bunco for 50 years. The last 18 months of her life were spent at the Episcopal Church Home where she was cared for with the highest quality and love.
Preceding her in death was her devoted husband of 66 years, Linton W. Maryman.
Survivors include her children, Linda Beair (Rick), Dr. Gary Maryman (Sharon), L. W. “Yogi” Maryman (Sheila) and Debbie Orr (Art); five grandchildren, and five great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Monday at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Highway with burial at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery Central, Radcliff, KY.
Visitation will be from 2 – 7 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
