Jose S. Cornier, age 39, passed away on Sunday, July 23, 2017. Born in Taunton, he was the son of Jose L. and Maria (Ramos) Cornier, both of Taunton.
Jose worked as a caregiver for Caregiver Homes in Attleboro. He loved listening to music, dancing and was known for being the life of the party. Besides his parents, he is survived by his brother Angel Cornier of Taunton, and several aunts, uncles, cousins, nephews and a niece.
Jose’s funeral will be held Monday, July 31, 2017 at 8:45 am from the Silva Funeral Home, 80 Broadway (at Saint Mary’s Square) in Taunton followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am in Saint Mary’s Church, Taunton. Interment will follow in Mayflower Hill Cemetery. Visiting hours will be held Sunday, July 30, 2017 from 4 to 7 pm in the Silva Funeral Home. Additional parking with full handicap access is located on the north side of the funeral home.
