Solange J. Lebeau, 67, of Berlin, passed away on Thursday July 27, 2017 at her home. She was born on January 21, 1950 in Lac Megantic, PQ, Canada the daughter of J.P. Alphonse and Irene (Boulet) Poirier and moved to the United States in 1973 and came to Berlin in 1983. She had been employed as a cashier at Irving and had also worked at Shaw’s and Gorham Oil. Solange was a member of Good Shepherd Parish and enjoyed knitting, sewing and crafts. She also loved to go fishing.
Family includes her husband Real Lebeau of Berlin, NH; sons Eric Lebeau of Berlin, NH, Steve Lebeau of Gorham, NH and Dave Lodge of Ontario, Canada; sisters Gisele (Poirier) Chabot, Madeleine (Poirier) Chabot and Colette Poirier all of Canada. She was predeceased by her brother Gerald Poirier.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday August 1, 2017 at 10 AM at St. Anne Church of Good Shepherd Parish. Relatives and friends may call at the Bryant Funeral Home, 180 Hillside Avenue, Berlin on Monday July 31, 2017 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM. Interment will be in Canada at a later date.
