Paul Willard Stephens, 79, of Anderson died July 27, 2017 peacefully at his residence.
He was born March 26, 1938 in Anderson the son of Alfred and Bernice (Waldrip) Stephens. Paul graduated from Indiana University with a degree in accounting. He was a Certified Public Accountant and a part owner of Stephens and Soetenga CPA in Fishers, IN for 48 years before retiring in 2011.
Paul attended Park Place Church of God in Anderson. He was a member of Sons of the American Revolution, I.U. Alumni Association, Fishers Rotary and the Chamber of Commerce in Fishers.
Paul is survived by his wife, Dee (Henry) Stephens of Anderson whom he married September 19, 1959 in Anderson; daughter, Terisa (Bob) Wenner of Daleville; two sons, Pat Stephens (fiancée Ellen Hensley) of Anderson, son, Kevin (Jodi) Stephens of Demotte, IN; grandchildren, Dana, Christina, Renee, Carlie, Geoffrey, Kasey Andrews, Daniel, Madelyn and Olivia; great grandchildren, Isaac, Bryson, Maxwell and Kade Andrews; sister, Carolyn Lennen of Daleville; brother-in-law, Terry (Sandy) Henry of Cleveland; several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, July 31, 2017 at Park Place Church of God with Dr. Ann Smith officiating.
Visitation will be from 9 to 11 a.m. Monday at the church.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to The Climb "Indiana Parkinson Foundation", Kindred Hospice Care or Park Place Church of God.
