WORCESTER - Jeannette A. Thomas, 78, passed away peacefully on Wednesday July 26th at Beaumont Nursing Home in Worcester.
Jeannette was born on February 22, 1939 in Worcester, Massachusetts a daughter of the late Abraham and Margaret (Chemaly) Thomas.
A lifelong resident, Jeannette was educated through the Worcester Schools and later attended Becker College receiving a certification in bookkeeping.
She was a very active member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church. Jeanette worked as a bookkeeper for over sixteen years at Table Talk Pies in Worcester.
Jeannette enjoyed traveling, gardening, the beach, the theatre, and shopping. But most of all Jeannette loved cooking big meals and having family gatherings.
She was pre-deceased by her siblings, Joseph Thomas, Mary Thomas, and Florence Hadad.
Jeannette is survived by her sister in law, Katherine Thomas, many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews who loved her like a mother.
Jeannette will be sadly missed and will forever be in our hearts.
Her funeral will take place on Tuesday August 1st at FAZIO FUNERAL HOME, 9 Branch St. Worcester, MA. A funeral service will follow at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church at 10:00 am. Visiting hours will be held Monday, July 31st from 4:00pm to 7:00pm. Interment will be in Notre Dame Cemetery .
