BOXFORD - Milton K. Knauer, age 75, a retired office manager, died Friday, Sept. 30, at the VA
Medical Center in Manchester, NH, after a lengthy illness. He was the life partner of Gaye
Kirshman of Boxford.
He was a veteran of the Korean War, having served in the Army.
He was born in Brooklyn, NY the son of the late David and Esther (Kaufman) Knauer. He lived
the greater part of his life in New York and New Jersey, and moved to the Boston area in 1980.
He was employed as a purchasing agent for Besco in Boston and Lawrence.
In his recent years, he was active in the Senior Community in Boxford
Beside his life partner, he is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, David and Stephanie Knauer
of Mountain Valley, CA; and one sister, Sylvia Steinlauf of CA; and many friends in the Boxford
Senior Community.
A graveside service was held Sunday, Oct 2, in Mt. Vernon Cemetery, Boxford.
