Marion D. Lounsbury, 87, of Framingham, beloved and devoted wife of Roland F. Lounsbury, died Sunday, July 16, 2017, at Heritage of Framingham.
She was born April 30, 1930 in Manchester, Connecticut, daughter of the late Alice Faulkner Dickson and Thomas Dickson. Marion attended the University of Connecticut and was a Pi Beta Phi sorority sister. Marion lived in Simsbury, Connecticut for much of her entire life. Besides being a devoted mother and wife, she worked at the Aetna Insurance company and as the office manager for an orthopedic surgery practice in West Hartford, CT. She was an avid bridge player, enjoyed crosswords, and loved spending time at the shore in Cape Cod and Maine.
She was predeceased by her loving husband of 63 years, Roland Lounsbury. She is survived by her daughter, Meredith Lounsbury Despins and her husband Gary, of Pasadena, MD; her son, David Lounsbury and his wife Zita of Natick, MA; her sister, Doris Jacobs of Manchester, CT; her grandchildren, Krystal Despins of Pasadena, MD, Robin Despins of Natick, MA and Brendan Lounsbury of Hartford, CT; and her niece, Alison Holcomb and her husband Bob of South Kingston, RI.

Services will be held at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, 39 East Central Street, Natick, MA, on Friday, July 28th at 10:30 AM.
Interment services will be at a later date.
