Dorothea E. Legge (Hawley), age 87, of S. Weymouth passed away on July 25, 2017. Dorothea was born in Boston then raised and educated in Norwood where she met her husband of 65 years, Bill. Dorothea and Bill got married after Bill returned from his service in the Army during the Korean War. They settled in Weymouth where they have resided since 1959. Dorothea enjoyed ice dancing with her husband and their repeated trips to Hawaii after retirement. She will be missed for her loving and caring demeanor.
Dorothea is survived by her beloved husband William E. Legge of S. Weymouth. She is the loving mother of Dianne Johnston and her late husband Ronald of Holbrook and Susan Espiritu and her husband Romy of Abington, cherished grandmother to Steven and Cheryl Johnston and Sirenna Evans, and great grandmother to Natalie and Madeline Evans.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the Funeral Service in honor of Dorothea on Saturday July 29, 2017 at 10AM in the Christ Church located at 12 Quincy Ave. Quincy, MA 02169. Interment will immediately follow at Lakeview Cemetery in S. Weymouth.
