SEBAGO- Charles L. Pettigrow, age 47, passed away on July 22, 2017 in Warren from cancer.
He was born in Portland on Oct. 7, 1969, and worked throughout his life as a carpenter, a roofer, and doing production work.
He will always be remembered as an avid Patriots fan. Chuck, our brother, Dad, and uncle, would hardly ever miss a Patriots and Celtics game on TV. He also enjoyed writing, drawing, public speaking, playing cribbage and Yahtzee, going to his nephew Colbe's track and basketball events where he always volunteered to keep score, and spending time with family and friends. He especially loved his two sons. Sitting around a campfire relaxing was something he enjoyed as well.
He is predeceased by his biological father- Charles Black; his adoptive father- Eric Pettigrow; and his mother- Millie (Legere) Pettigrow; and sisters- Deborah Hanscome and Maryellen Turcotte.
He is survived by his sons- Charles L. Pettigrow II of Portland and Matthew E. Pettigrow of Gorham; sisters- Valerie Sproul of Steep Falls, Bonnie Westleigh of Sebago, Karen Pettigrow of Gorham, Brenda Garland of Dixfield, and Candi Ingalls of Gorham; and several nieces and nephews.
RIP Bro- we love you endlessly
RIP Dad- We are going to miss you
RIP Uncle- Till we meet again
