Patricia (Heary) O’Reilly 90, of Framingham and formerly of Natick, died Sunday, July 23, 2017 at the Metro West Medical Center in Framingham.
She was the beloved wife of Hugh O’Reilly sharing 65 years of marriage.
A Natick resident for over 50 years she was born in Dublin Ireland the daughter of the late John and Mary (Gilligan) Heary.
Mrs. O’Reilly came to the United States in 1956 and settled in Natick in 1960. She was a loving mother and dedicated homemaker. After her children were graduated from school she began her career in Culinary Arts and was a chef at the Kinder Care and Next Generation Pre Schools.
Mrs. O’Reilly was a devout Catholic and was a longtime Parishioner at St. Patrick’s Natick where she was a Eucharistic Minister and CCD Teacher. She was an avid walker around downtown Natick and enjoyed travel to Jensen Beach Florida in the winter months, frequent trips back to Ireland to see her family, and made a very special religious visit to the Holy Land in Israel.
In addition to her husband she is survived by four daughters, Ann O’Reilly, Denise O’Reilly both of Cumberland, RI, Deirdre O’Reilly-Heaton and her husband Paul of Webster, and Dawn Kilgore and her husband Kevin of Munson, son David O’Reilly of Framingham, five grandchildren Timothy O’Reilly, Sarah Aprea and her husband John, Dayna Riley, Susan O‘Reilly, Molly Riley two great-grandchildren, Maya Aprea, Ava Boulette, and many nieces and nephews. She was also the mother of the late Brian Hugh O’Reilly and Mary Margaret O’Reilly.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral on Saturday, July 29 at 9:00 A.M. from the John Everett and Sons Funeral Home, 4 Park Street, at Natick Common, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Patrick Church at 10:00 A.M.
Visiting hours are Friday from 4:00 to 7:00 P.M.
The O’Reilly family would like to thank in a special way the kind and compassionate staff at the Hospice Unit at Metro West Medical Center in Framingham and the dedicated staff at Oak Knoll Nursing Home in Framingham for the loving care shown to Patricia and Hugh, and to Maria her loving caregiver at home.
