Mrs. Patricia Brown Evans, 74, of Fitzgerald, died Wednesday, September 28, 2005 at Dorminy Medical Center.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 Saturday, October 1, 2005 at the Paulk Funeral Home Chapel, Fitzgerald, with Rev. Danny Lovett officiating. Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 7 until 9, Friday evening at the funeral home.
Mrs. Evans was born August 10, 1931, in Ben Hill County, Georgia to the late Harvey Lee and Thelma Louise Keefer Brown. She lived in the community most of her life. Mrs. Evans was a former Beautician, a former employee of Irwin Manufacturing and former manager of Pat’s Café. She was a member of Salem Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband: Ben H. Evans of Fitzgerald; Children: Rodney E. Reynolds of Fitzgerald, Cynthia Troupe of Abbeville, Daryl Reynolds and Janet Dunn, both of Fitzgerald; 11 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren; stepson: Fred Evans of Ocilla. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Major Lee Reynolds and a granddaughter, Jennifer Dunn.
