WORCESTER-John T. “Teddy” Martin, 73 of 9 Fox Meadow Drive, formerly of Gates Lane died Tuesday, November 13th in Life Care Center, Auburn after an illness. His wife, Kathleen P. (Swaine) Martin died in 1998. He leaves a son John C. Martin of Shrewsbury; a daughter Marilyn Murzycki of Worcester; 2 sisters Mary Ellis of Sydney, Nova Scotia, Canada and Audrey Stinson of Ft. Mills, S.C; 3 grandchildren and many nephews and nieces. A brother, Granger Martin predeceased him.
He was born in Sydney, Nova Scotia son of Margaret Martin and had lived in North Carolina before moving to Worcester in 1960. Mr. Martin was a machinist at Reed & Prince Co. for 30 years retiring in 1984. He was a member of Our Lady of the Angels Church.
The funeral will be held Friday November 16th from O’Connor Brothers Funeral Home, 592 Park Avenue with a mass at 10:00 AM in Our Lady of the Angels Church, 1222 Main Street. Burial will be in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. Calling hours will be Thursday, November 15th from 5:00 until 8:00 PM in the funeral home.
