Raymond N. Barao, 59, of New Bedford passed away suddenly on Saturday, July 8, 2017. He lived life to its fullest and his radiant laughter will be missed by all who knew him.
Born in New Bedford, the son of the late Normand and Elaine (Diogo) Barao, he lived in New Bedford for most of his life and in New York for 18 years. He loved to play poker, lottery games, music, and was an amazing artist.
Survivors include his brother, Norman, sister-in-law Rose, nieces Madison and Samantha, nephew Nicholas, aunts Lucy and Shirley, cousins Rosemarie, Edmund, Robert, Larry, Bruce, Joanne, Deborah, Joey, Johnny, Kevin, Brad, Kathy, Shawn, Judy, Gail, his friends, TJ, Tammy, John, and Cindy, and beloved huskies, Achilles and Maya.
