Roberta (Bobbi) Lovell
June 16, 1941 – July 18, 2017
Roberta (“Bobbi”) Lovell, 76, of Whitman, Massachusetts died on July 18 at Seasons Hospice in Milton.
Born in Boston, MA, she was the daughter of Walter Giles and Grace (Linskey) Giles of Braintree.
She attended Braintree High School and continued on to Burdette College and graduated from the School of Business. She spent many years working as a Subrogation Specialist for Kemper Insurance.
Bobbi loved music, loved to sing and was a longtime member of the Braintree Chapter of Sweet Adelines. Her most recent project was helping organize the Whitman Fair Food Program with her dear friends.
Bobbi was the wife of the late Darryl Lovell, Sr., and the sister of the late James Giles of Plymouth. She was a loving mother and leaves behind her daughter Melissa Donahue and her husband Dan Donahue of Whitman, her son Darryl Lovell, Jr. and his wife Nicole Lovell of Coventry, RI. She also leaves behind her 3 grandchildren, Christopher Donahue of Abington, Gregory Donahue of Medford, and Tyler Lovell of Coventry, RI. She will surely be missed by her companion Bob Cabral and her dear friend Jane Walker, both of Whitman.
