New Bedford – Natalie (Sylvia) Rogers, age 82 of Dartmouth, passed away on Sunday, July 16, 2017 at St. Luke’s Hospital. She was the beloved wife of Charles Rogers and was the daughter of the late Estelle (Sylvia) and John Sylvia.
She was born in New Bedford, MA and lived in this area all of her life. Natalie was a loving homemaker to her family.
She is survived by her husband; daughters, Karen Ann Rocha and her husband, Thomas of Dartmouth; Leslie Estelle Haaland and her husband, Torleiv of Dartmouth and Joanne Botelho and her husband, Wayne of Dartmouth; sons, Charles Rogers Jr of Dartmouth and John Anthony Rogers and his companion, Kelly Mello of Dartmouth; 8 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; sister, Lucy Freitas of South Dartmouth; as well as several nieces and nephews. She was also the sister of the late Elsie Freitas of Florida.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to either The American Heart Association or a charity of your choice.
Her visiting hours will be held Wednesday from 5:00-8:00 P.M. at the Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 6:00 P.M. during visiting hours.
