Mary A. (Walsh) Keenan,90, of 45 Auburn St., in the Cherry Valley section of Leicester, died Wednesday, Sept. 28 at St. Vincent Hospital
in Worcester after a long illness. She leaves her husband of 58 years, John F. Keenan, Sr., two sons Lt.
Col (Ret.) USAF John F. Keenan, Jr. and his wife Lada Keenan of Carlsbad, Calif., and Dr. Joseph T. and his wife Dr. Melissa Keenan of Lancaster, N.H., four grandchildren, Christopher, Michael, Katherine and John Joseph Keenan, nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by brothers Walter and Martin "Joe" Walsh and sisters
Margaret Walsh and Dorothy Nolan.
Mrs. Keenan graduated from the former Commerce High in Worcester and was a member of St. Joseph's Church.
Born in Worcester, she was the daughter of Martin and Helen(Power)
Walsh. She loved to sing, and loved collecting and dressing dolls, and then
giving them away.
The funeral will be held Saturday, Oct. 1 from the MORRISON-MORIN
FUNERAL HOME, 1131 Main St.,Leicester with a Mass at 10 a.m. in St. Joseph's
Church,759 Main St.,Leicester. Burial will follow in St. Joseph's Cemetery.
Calling hours are Friday, Sept. 30 from 5 to 8p.m. in the funeral home. In lieu of
