Stephen A. Robitaille, age 64, of Berkley, passed away peacefully, in the comfort of his home on Thursday, July 13, 2017. He was the beloved husband of Lisa M. (Cassani) Robitaille, whom he had shared the past thirty years together with.
Born in Fall River, MA on May 21, 1953, he was a loving son of the late Raymond and Carol (Marum) Robitaille.
Steve grew up and was educated in Fall River. He was a graduate of Diamond Vocational High School and furthered his studies, earning a Bachelor of Science Degree in Sociology from Bridgewater State University.
Stephen was employed as a computer systems administrator at Taunton State Hospital and as a rehabilitation counselor for the Massachusetts department of Mental Health.
Most of all, Steve loved spending time with his family and living in the beautiful town of Berkley. He was a true outdoorsman who enjoyed being a member of the Appalachian Mountain Club, as well as hiking, kayaking and gardening.
In addition to his beloved wife, he is survived by his loving and devoted children Jason K. Robitaille of New Bedford, Adam M. Robitaille of Fairhaven, Brett J. Robitaille and his wife Jaime of Westport and Nicole L. Robitaille of Berkley. He was the cherished grandfather of Sawyer Robitaille. He was the dear brother of David Robitaille and his wife Kyle of Fall River, James Robitaille of Fall River, Paul Robitaille and his wife Darlene of Somerset, and is also survived by his loving nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend visiting hours on Wednesday, July 19th from 4:30-7:30 P.M. at the Taunton Funeral Home, 8 Crapo St. (Off Route 140, Tremont St.) Taunton.
