Robert M. Gentile, age 74, passed away at home on July 11, 2017. He was born in Springfield on May 1, 1943 to the late Frank L. Sr. and Madeline (Cardinale) Gentile. He enlisted in the Air Force and attained the rank of A1C. Robert worked as the head of shipping and receiving at STCC for many years before retiring. He leaves one brother Frank Gentile and his wife Elaine of Hampden; one sister Linda Chartier and her husband of South Hadley and many nieces, nephews and cousins. A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, July 17, 2017 at 10:00 AM at the MA Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Agawam. There are no calling hours.
