Robert Scott Cournoyer, 25, of Pawtucket passed away Thursday July 6, 2017. He was the loving son of Scott R. Cournoyer and his wife Jessica of Cumberland and Tammy Dionne of Pawtucket.
Born in Woonsocket he grew up in Cumberland attending Cumberland High School. He lived in Florida for several years before returning to the local area.
Rob was employed at Harris Industries in Pawtucket as a printer for several years. He also worked in the pest control and fumigation service while living in Florida.
Rob played basketball and baseball. He liked fantasy football, video games, card games and music.
Rob was an outgoing intelligent person with a wonderful sense of humor. He was a voracious reader and had developed good business acumen.
Rob was competitive and very protective of his sisters. He loved the outdoors and spending time at the beach.
Rob recently had the tremendous joy of becoming a father to his little Lily Belle Thompson. Words cannot describe the love Rob had for his special Lily Belle.
Rob is survived by his parents and stepmom, his sisters Paige Costigan and AnnaBella Cournoyer. His daughter Lily Belle’s mother Kayla Thompson. He was the grandson of Diane Durand of Manville and the late Robert and Florence Cournoyer and Rusti Dionne and the late Gene Dionne. He is also survived by his extended family of many aunts uncles cousins and friends.
Visiting hours are Thursday from 5:00-7:00 pm with a service in Celebration of Rob’s Life at 7:00 pm in the Menard-Lacouture Funeral Home, 127 Carrington Ave. Woonsocket. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made in support of Lily Belle.
