Linda Jay (Ennis) Fisher, passed away peacefully after a long period of failing health surrounded by her loving daughters on June 25, 2017 at Beth Israel in Boston, Massachusetts. Linda was known for her infectious smile and the ability to make everyone around her feel loved and important. Linda was a very talented writer as well. Her ability to articulate words and phrases into beautiful pieces of literature was incredibly unique. Some of her writings have been published in newspapers and other literature platforms. She enjoyed to write about holidays and special occasions. Cape Cod was a personal favorite of Linda’s, her daughters and grandchildren would often accompany her on these trips. Linda was the wife of the late Donald E. Fisher and daughter of the late Kenneth Ennis and Pauline Chase. She is survived by her beloved daughters Kelley O’Brien of Hanson, Kristen Barilaro of Hanson and Denise Breen of Middleboro. Linda is also survived by her brother Barry Ennis and sister-in-law Linda Ennis of Rockland, sister Cheryl Blanks and brother-in-law Michael Blanks of Tennessee and sister Jeanette Chase and sister-in-law Cheryl Cuccia of Hull. Linda could also be known as “Mimi” to Kendra Barilaro, Mikeyla Breen, Sarah Barilaro, Lindsey Lincoln, and Jason Ferreira. She was a loving aunt to Lori Soper, Alex Chase, Elise Soper, Aidan Soper and Michelle Cuccia. Linda had many special cousins, relatives and friends. Memorial Visiting Hours will be held on July 13, 2017 at the Shepherd Funeral Home, 7 Mattakeesett St, Pembroke, MA from 3pm-7pm.
