In Plymouth, formerly of Taunton July 7, 2017 Diane M. (Colicchio) Roma beloved wife of the late John J. Roma of twenty five years died suddenly in Plymouth at the age of 70. Born in Norwood and educated in Foxborough, Diane was the daughter of the late Ralph and Celia (Crognalo) Colicchio. Diane established and owned Roma’s Hair Fashions that was established with her late husband in the early sixty’s. She also Co-owned De-Anth Motors with her late husband. She resided in Eastham / Orleans during the summers and weekends off season. Diane enjoyed Boating, going to the beach, Traveling, gardening, hosting large family and friends events during the holiday seasons, cooking large holiday dinners, decorating for the seasons and holidays. Diane also enjoyed tap with the mother tap group for Kiley’s school of dance with duos with her daughter. Diane enjoyed participation in her son’s Anthony’s various school sports. She was active in many Community fundraisers with the Taunton Fire and Police Assoc. She won the award for the best float in the Taunton Parade for the beauty shop. Diane was the mother of Anthony J. Roma and Deenah-Jean Roma. Loving grandmother of Davelyn, Nevaeh and Caden. Sister of Carol and Deborah. Aunt of Richard, Lisa and Paul. Calling hours will be held at the O’Keefe-Wade Funeral Home 70 Washington Street in Taunton on Friday, July 14th from 9 to 10:30 am. Followed by a graveside service at St Joseph Cemetery in Taunton at 11 am.
