Mary J. Lamb (Deery) of Milton, formerly of Canton, passed away July 8th at Orchard Cove in Canton surrounded by her loving family. Born in Boston, she was raised in Jamaica Plain and graduated from Jamaica Plain High School and U-Mass, Boston. She lived in Canton for many years, before moving to Milton in 2000. She enjoyed playing in the Ponkapoag Ladies Golf League and was a Eucharistic Minister at St. Gerard Majella Church in Canton. She worked as an Ombudsman for HESCO for many years before retiring. Beloved wife of the late Arthur J. Mother of Joseph Lamb and his wife Kathyann of Westwood, Anne Tonaszuck and her husband David of Duxbury and Kimberly Hagan and her husband Kevin of Canton. Sister of the late William and Joseph Deery and Kathleen Walsh. Grandmother of John, Kevin, Michael and Katherine Lamb, Stephen, Mary and Katie Tonaszuck, and Brian, Caroline and John Hagan. Sister in law of the late Charles Lamb and his wife Alma Lamb of Canton and George Lamb and his wife Helen of Canton. Visiting hours at the Dockray & Thomas Funeral Home 455 Washington St. Canton Wednesday 4-7 pm. Funeral mass at St. Gerard Majella Church Canton Thursday morning at 10.
