Doris M. (Morin) Lincks, age 93, of Mansfield, passed away peacefully on Friday, July 7, 2017 at the Serenity Hill Nursing Center in Wrentham. She was the beloved wife of the late Charles F. Lincks, Jr., to whom she was wed for forty-five years at the time of his death in 2005.
Born in Milford, MA on July 28, 1923, she was a loving daughter of the late Arthur, Sr. and Lillian (McGee) Morin.
Doris grew up in Milford and was a graduate of St. Mary’s High School. She had made her home in Mansfield for most of her life and had also lived in Tamworth, NH, where she worked as a homecare provider for Carroll County Medical Services.
Doris’s family was the focal point of her life. She enjoyed gardening, puzzles, was an amazing talented seamstress, will always be remembered for her strong work ethics and her proudness of receiving a citation, awarded by former Governor Michael Dukakis, for sixteen years of dedicated service to the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
Doris’s family would like to extend their gratitude to the staff at Serenity Hill Nursing Center in Wrentham, the Community Visiting Nurse Agency in Attleboro and Beacon Hospice in Fall River for the exceptional care and kindness bestowed on her.
She is survived by her loving and devoted children Joyce A. LaPlume of North Carolina, Robin A. Baldini and her husband Rick of Mansfield, Lee A. Alessandri and her husband David of Mansfield, Charles F. Lincks, III of Rhode Island and the late Adele A. Lincks. She was the dear sister of Phillip Morin of Milford, and the late Arthur Morin, Jr., Francis Morin and Leo Morin. She is also survived by her cherished 4 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren, as well as several nieces and nephews. She was the mother-in- law of the late Jerry LaPlume and the former wife of the late Joseph Scannell.
Private graveside services will be held at the Spring Brook Cemetery in Mansfield, at the convenience of her family. Visiting hours have been omitted.
