Brenda E. Levesque, 70, of Derry, NH, passed away Thursday July 6, 2017, surrounded by her loving family at the Elliot Hospital, Manchester, NH. She was born in Derry, NH on September 18, 1946, a daughter of the late Ruth (Hoisington) Morneau. Brenda was a graduate of Pinkerton Academy, Derry, Class of 1964 and has frequent get togethers with many of her classmates. She owned and operated Brenda’s Daycare in Derry for over 30 years. Brenda continued to be a caregiver and more recently was assisting some active seniors, taking them on outings and ensuring they were well cared for. She was active with the PTA as well as the Relay for Life. Brenda lived a life of giving not taking. Most of all, she loved spending time her family, especially her grandchildren.
She is survived by her beloved husband of 49 years Paul Levesque, her two children and their families, Gary Levesque, his wife Laura and their sons Brendan and Joseph as well as Karyn Stebbins, her husband Joel and their sons Ryan and Kyle, four siblings, Robert, Judith, Dorothy and Rick, as well as many nieces and nephews.
Following cremation, memorial calling hours were held on Monday, July 17, 2017 from 4 – 6pm in the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch Street, Derry. Interment in the NH State Veterans Cemetery will be held privately by the family at a later date.
