Meredith--David Leland Hall, 73, passed away after a brief illness on Sunday, July 2, 2017.
David was born to Leland M. and Alene E. (White) Hall on August 9, 1943 in Warren, OH. He grew up as the second eldest of four on a farm in Williamsfield, OH. Upon graduating from Pymatuning Valley High School in 1961, David enlisted into the United States Navy. He was stationed in: Florida, Virginia, and aboard the USS Shangra-la aircraft carrier, until he was honorably discharged in 1968.
David worked as a heavy equipment operator for: Heyser Landscaping (PA), Ambrose Bros, James S. Piscopo Contracting, and Andrews Construction. In his younger years, David also spent several winters as a snowmaker and groomer at Spring Mountain Ski Area (PA), Gunstock Mountain, and Ragged Mountain. David retired in 2015 to enjoy: traveling in his RV with his wife, Pat; skiing in the winters; and fishing during summers in Wells, ME.
Beloved husband of 45 years to Patricia (Sneathen) Hall. Loving father of Erik Hall and his wife, Kate, of Hooksett, NH; and Todd Hall and his wife, Rachel, of Alton, NH. Treasured Pop-Pop to his three grandsons: Zachary (11), Ryan (9), and Colby (7). Brother of Karen (Hall) Rose and her husband Gerald of Roaming Shores, OH; and Loretta (Hall) Leszunov of Erie, PA. David was predeceased by his parents and his sister, Linda (Hall) Rose.
A celebration of life will be held be at the Meredith Community Center, 1 Circle Drive, Meredith, NH on Sunday July 16, 2017 between 11:00 and 2:00.
