Emogene (Jones) Craig, 93, of Anderson died unexpectedly July 3, 2017 at Community Northview Rehab.
She was born June 8, 1924 in Monterey, Tennessee the daughter of Ernest F and Cecil (Matheny) Jones.
She worked production at Guide Lamp Division of General Motors for 30 years before retiring in 1974.
Emogene attended Edgewood Baptist Church.
She is survived by her daughter, Janet (Roy V. ) Blair of Anderson; two grandchildren, Andrea (Chris) McClure of Anderson and Nathan( Misty) Blair of South Bend; six great grandchildren, Mark, Abbie and Ben McClure; Riley, Hayden and Audrey Blair; sister, Violet (Braden) Looper of Anderson; sister-in-law, Joan (Carl) Chambers of Anderson; two brothers-in-law, Walter (Janice) Craig of Middletown and Richard Craig of Anderson and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, William Earl Craig whom she married May 17, 1947 and three brothers, J.A. Jones, James Jones and Bill Jones.
Service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Monday July 10, 2017 at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service with Pastor Andy Lutz officiating. Burial will follow in Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 2 to 5 p.m. on Sunday at the funeral home.
