SHERRER, Dorothy L. (Lockhart) Of Wellesley Hills and South Chatham, July 2nd. Beloved wife of the late Wayne H. Sherrer. Loving mother of Lynn Spencer (Rod), Janet Devane (Mark), John Sherrer (Lisa) and twins Karen Halley (Jeff), Carl Sherrer (Lori). Sister of Barbara Campbell and the late Richard Lockhart. Also survived by 13 grandchildren and 1 great grand daughter.
Dorothy was a graduate of Boston University, Class of 1950 and received her Master's of Arts Degree in English in 1952. While in Graduate School, Dorothy was named the 1951 Woman of the Year and was placed in the Boston University Hall of Fame. She was a longtime member of the Wellesley Hills Congregational Church.
