Eugene S. Nasiadko, 73, of Worcester, died on Saturday July 1, 2017 in UMASS Memorial Medical Center, 55 Lake Ave North.
He leaves his wife of 50 years, Wiktoria (Hryckiewicz) Nasiadko, two daughters, Bozena Wasilewska and her husband John Galczak and Malgorzata Schweyer and her husband, Michael, a grandson, Aleksander Wasilewski and two granddaughters, Leah Schweyer and Courtney Schweyer. Eugene was born and raised in Nagoszewska, Poland a son of Jan Nasiadko and Karolina (Pysk) Nasiadka. He earned his degree from the Szczecinek Polytechnic University. Eugene immigrated to the United States in 1981 settling in Worcester and became a United States citizen on October 17, 1997 in Boston, Massachusetts.
Mr. Nasiadko was a machinery mechanic for many years. He worked initially for Fine Spinning Co., and later worked for other companies including Robinson Thread Co. He retired several years ago. Eugene enjoyed fishing and was also interested in cars and anything automotive. He also loved spending time with family. He was a member of Our Lady of Czestochowa Church.
The funeral will be held on Friday July 7, 2017 from HENRY - DIRSA FUNERAL HOME, 33 Ward Street with a Mass at 10:30 A.M. in Our Lady of Czestochowa Church, 34 Ward Street. Burial will follow in Notre Dame Cemetery. Calling hours in the funeral home are Thursday July 6, 2017 from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M.
