Beverly J. (Wild) Daley, 84, of Westport, peacefully passed away at home on Saturday, July 1, 2017 with her family by her side. She was the wife of Thomas J. Daley.
Mrs. Daley was born in Fall River, daughter of the late Albert and Marion (Corbishley) Wild. Prior to her retirement, she worked as a hospice nurse. She was a member of the Juliettes of BMC Durfee High School of Fall River and the Red Hats Society. She lived a life of service in Florida and this area. Mrs. Daley had a passion for hospice nursing and she loved and cared for her family. She led a life of service to her church and community.
Survivors along with her husband include her son: Stephen T. Daley of Harrisville, RI; her 3 daughters: Linda A. Ward of East Haddam, CT, Nancy L. Smart of Raymond, NH and Sharon Riendeau of Westport; 11 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
She was the sister of the late A. Vernon Wild.
Memorial service to which relatives and friends are invited will be Wednesday, July 5, 2017 at the Westport Point United Methodist Church, Westport Point at 7:00 P.M.
Calling hours will be Wednesday at the church from 5-7 P.M. prior to the service.
Interment will be private.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
