MEADOR, Maurice Edwin, 89, of Louisville, passed away Thursday, June 29, 2017.
He was retired from Belknap, Inc., and was an Army Veteran of Korea. He was a member of the Okolona Masonic Lodge #853, Louisville Scottish Rite, Louisville Kosair Shrine, High 12 Club, Eastern Star Victory Chapter #447, Louisville Board of Realtors, and a former member of the Okolona Optimist Club. Maurice was also a member of Middletown United Methodist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Franklin and Ella Meador; and his brother, Buford Meador.
Maurice is survived by his wife of 69 years, Margaret (Choate) Meador; and brothers, Howard F. Meador and C.B. Meador; and nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be 10am-1pm Wednesday at Owen Funeral Home - Jeffersontown, 9318 Taylorsville Road, with funeral service to follow at 1pm. Burial will be in Resthaven Memorial Park.
