Lorraine J. (Couto) Belanger, 85, of Fall River, passed away on Friday, June 30, 2017 at Sarah S. Brayton Nursing Care Center. She was the wife of the late Eugene Belanger.
Mrs. Belanger was born in Fall River, daughter of the late Manuel R. and Marion (Ouellette) Couto. She had been a longtime resident of both Fall River and Westport. She was a former communicant of St. Thomas More Church, Somerset and St. John the Baptist Church, Westport. She was a friend to so many wonderful people to whom she leaves this message: “I love you all!”
She is survived by her beloved niece: Nancy Cote and family; her godchild: Monique Robinson and her sister Michelle Harrison; her dear companion and brother-in-law: Roland Belanger; along with several other nieces and nephews.
She was the sister of the late Evelyn Boyd, Hilda Viveiros, Adele Jean and William Couto.
Mass of Christian Burial to which relatives and friends are invited will be Thursday, July 6, 2017 at St. John the Baptist Church, Westport at 11:00 A.M.
Visitation will be on Thursday, at the Potter Funeral Home from 9:30-10:30 A.M. prior to the Mass.
Interment will be in Beech Grove Cemetery, Westport.
