Michelle L. Gately 31, of Franklin, died suddenly, Thursday June 29, 2017 at Milford Regional Medical Center, following an illness.
Born July 2, 1985 in Woonsocket, Rhode Island, a daughter of Richard E. Gately, Sr. and Penny A. (Anderson) Gately both of Franklin, she was a longtime Franklin resident.
Michelle was raised and educated in Franklin and attended Tri-County Regional Vocational Technical High School. She worked as a housekeeper at numerous hotels while living in Bangor, Maine.
She enjoyed spending time with her children and family, the outdoors, camping, hiking and fishing.
In addition to her parents, Michelle is survived by her cherished daughters, Emily England and Lauren Black, 2 brothers, Richard E. Gately, Jr. of Franklin and Christopher E. Gately and his wife Tiffany of Milford.
She was the granddaughter of the late Vernal C. “Sonny” and Betty F. (Santos) Anderson, Joseph Gately, Sr. and Lucille C. (Visconte) Gately.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral service Friday July 7th at 10AM in Trinity Episcopal Church 47 East St. Wrentham, MA 02093. Interment will follow at Evergreen Cemetery, Kingston, MA.
Calling hours are Thurs. at the Charles F. Oteri & Son Franklin Funeral Home 33 Cottage St. from 5-7PM.
