Annette M. (Taddeo) Ransom, 73, of Plainville formerly of Franklin, died suddenly June 29 in Sturdy Memorial Hospital in Attleboro.
Born in Milford, October 12,1943, the daughter of the late Frank and Antoinette (Nanni) Taddeo, Mrs. Ransom was raised and had lived in Franklin until moving to Plainville 10 years ago.
Annette had been a CNA at Golden Pond Living Center in Hopkinton for many years, she loved caring for others.
She was an active member of St. Martha’s Church in Plainville, and enjoyed reading and gardening. Her greatest joy was being in the company of her family and friends, especially her grandchildren.
She is survived by her children, Nicole K. Silva and her husband Richard of Plainville, Jennifer L. Carter of Plainville and Keith P. Ransom of Vancouver Island, Canada.
She is also survived by her siblings, Rocco Taddeo of Maine, Ronald Taddeo, Alfio Taddeo and Edward Taddeo of Franklin, Rose Robles of Texas, Olympia Pisani of Florida and Carol Bonin of Holbrook.
She was the sister of the late Frank, Americo and Christopher Taddeo, Lena Garrey and Dorothy Thibault.
Annette is also survived by her grandchildren Ashia, Jordyn, Storm, Bryanna and Jake.
Her calling hours will be held on Wednesday, July 5 in the Ginley Funeral Home of Franklin (www.ginleyfuneralhomes.com) 131 Main Street, Franklin from 5-7 p.m.
A funeral service will be held at 7:00 p.m. at the end of the calling hours.
Interment will be held later at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Franklin.
