Ferrera, Rose (Gosdanian) of Belmont, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family, June 30, 2017. Beloved daughter of the late George and Seroon Gosdanian. Cherished and devout wife of John Ferrera for 63 years. Loving and treasured mother of Diane Newbrough and Lisa Ferrera. Adoring and proud grandmother of Kristyn Newbrough and Robert Newbrough. Dedicated sister of the late Mary Astor and the late Diane Gosdanian. Rose enjoyed cooking, gardening, music and sewing. She devoted herself to her family, always putting the needs of others ahead of her own. She will be loved and missed deeply. Funeral service at the Aram Bedrosian Funeral Home, 558 Mount Auburn Street, Watertown on Wednesday, July 5 at 1:00 p.m. A visitation period will be held in the funeral home on Wednesday from 11:00 a.m – 1:00 p.m. immediately prior to the funeral service. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Interment at Mount Auburn Cemetery, Cambridge.
