Cole Joseph Vary, 3 months old, of New Bedford died Sunday June 2, 2002 at New England Medical Center in Boston from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. He was the beloved son of Laurie A. Bettencourt and Ronald Vary, Jr.
He was born in New Bedford on February 18, 2002.
Survivors include his parents; 2 brothers, Jakob Vary and Ronald R. Vary, both of New Bedford; 2 sisters, Natasha DaSilva and Kristi Vary, both of New Bedford; his maternal grandmother, Ramona Bettencourt of New Bedford; his paternal grandparents, Patricia Vary of Texas and Ronald Vary of Florida; his paternal great-grandparents, Raymond and Doris Vary of Acushnet; his godparents, William and Maureen Murphy of Acushnet; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.He was the grandson of the late Joseph Donald Bettencourt, and great-grandson of the late Mary DeSilva and Frank DeSilva.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Funeral Mass at the Holy Name of the Sacred Heart of Jesus Church on Saturday June 8, 2002 at 10 AM.Visiting hours are omitted.
