Driscoll, Jolena Golemme
42, of Rockland, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on June 27, 2017. Born May 3, 1975, she will be greatly missed by her parents, Joanne and Charles McDonough, her husband, Brendon Driscoll and her beloved boys Jodon and Noah Driscoll. She will also be missed by her grandmother, Phyllis McDonough, many aunts, uncles, cousins, nephew and nieces and the large extended families of the Golemmes, McDonoughs, Driscolls, Chasens, Scolaros and Jaspers.
She was a graduate of Hanover High School where she played basketball and was a member of the band. She studied daycare at Bridgewater State and Quincy College and worked most of her life with children. She knew at a very early age that she wanted to become a daycare teacher. Being the oldest grandchild she was often the babysitter for large groups of family members as well.
Jolena was an active member and instrumental in the formation of Rockland Young People’s AA Group and was an inspiration and a blessing to many young women and men.
She loved movies and music and could name any movie title, character, any song or artist. Mostly she loved just getting up each day to interact with family and friends and looked forward to any adventure each new day might bring.
From the whole family, we would like to express our appreciation and a give a big thank you to everyone for their love and support.
