Margaret M. Jones of Sharon, MA, died on Monday, September 26, 2005 at the age of 90.
She was born in St. John, New Brunswick, Canada on Monday, August 30, 1915 to the late John G. and Olive (McCumber) McLeod. She was also the step-daughter of Margaret May (McLeod) Catherwood-Gordon.
Margaret was married to the late James V. Jones.
She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Sharon and was very active in the church . She had also been a Girl Scout leader.
She is survived by Son James Jones of Riviera Beach, FL; Son George Jones of Knoxville, TN; Daughter Carolyn Morrison of Gautier, MS; Son John Jones of Sharon, MA; Daughter Mary Ann Bishop of Vero Beach, FL; Son William Jones of Sheldonville, MA; Daughter Barbara Brillant of Bourne, MA; Daughter Deborah Wersosky of Mechanicsburg, PA and the late Margaret Jones. She was the sister of Arthur W. McLeod of Grimsby, Ontario, Canada and the late Viola H. Leonard of Danvers, MA. She is also survived by 24 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-granddaughter.
The family has requested no visiting hours and is planning a Memorial Service at the Tracy Funeral Home in Walpole, MA at a later date.
