Laconia-----Costas C. Golionis 70, of Champlin Street Died on Saturday, June 24, 2017 at Lakes Region General Hospital surrounded by his loving family.
Costas was born January 15, 1947 in Trikala, Greece, son to the late Konstantinos and Aglaia (Goulioni) Pyrgiotis . Following his naval military service in Greece, he moved to New Hampshire in 1970. He worked for Laconia Needle for a several years, becoming a Lead man and meeting his future wife. Costas later opened and operated South End Pizza and Seafood for 25 years before retiring.
Costas enjoyed fishing, hunting and was an avid poker player. He will be remember most for his giving nature, always helping those in need. Above all he enjoyed spending time with his family, friends and his dog, Ash.
Costas is survived by his loving wife of 44 years, Georgia (Kipreotis) Golionis of Laconia; two sons, Athen Golionis and Scott Kipreotis both of Laconia and several nieces and nephews; close friends, the Yiannis Family and Pete St. Pierre. In addition to his parents he is predeceased by his brother, George Pyrgiotis.
There will be no calling hours or funeral services.
